I got a nastygram from the HOA today. They said I had "drink containers" on my lawn.
I just threw it away because I don't leave "drink containers" on my lawn, and it certainly wasn't there yesterday.
My wife got all pissed off though and called the HOA. Turns out what they actually meant to say in the nastygram was that my trashcan was in the driveway.
The only thing I can figure was that the other day when I was mowing the lawn I had to move the trashcan out of the garage to wheel the mower out.
That, or they are just making shit up.

An excellent example of why "No HOA" was #1 on the shopping list for our current house.
I got nastygrams all the time in Round Rock for having an "abandoned or derelict vehicle" in my driveway. Damnit, I drove that Jeep every day. It was neither abandoned or derelict. Just ugly as hell.
The HOA in Phoenix was worse. Dues were much higher and they'd bitch about the depth of the mowed grass. I don't like putting green length grass, but nooooo...
All those HOA bastiches can rot in their little busy body hell.
